About twenty years ago, I began writing what was supposed to be a progressive metal concept album called Dark Days, which told the story of an unrequited love gone terribly wrong. Over the years I lost the requisite angst to make such a record, but the music has always been dear to me.

Brighter Days is a fresh take on that material, allowing me to explore electronica (including trance, synthwave and fakebit/chiptunes) while giving those old songs a new, and generally more positive, spin. The album covers the full spectrum of emotion from dark to light, offering an optimistic vision of the future. Enjoy!
